Основное оборудование, которое вам понадобится, этого:
  • сама плата R-Pi
  • блок питания (Micro-USB, 5В, до 2500 мА)
  • карту памяти (micro)SDHC для установки программного обеспечения. (Поскольку декодирование видео является более ресурсоемким, чем многие другие операции, может быть важнее иметь быструю / высококачественную карту памяти для Kodi, чем для других целей

1. Добавление репозитория Team Kodi PPA
Используйте терминал командной строки в Ubuntu и введите следующие команды. Следуйте инструкциям, как и при любой другой установке программного обеспечения.
sudo apt install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
sudo apt install kodi

2. Установка сборки для разработки
sudo apt install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa: team-xbmc/xbmc-nightly
sudo apt install kodi
Обратите внимание, что если у вас есть какие-либо надстройки (например, клиенты PVR), их также необходимо обновить (они не будут обновляться автоматически):
sudo apt install kodi-pvr-mythtv
